What is my PIN?
P-I-N stands for Personal Identification Number. The first time you check your patron record or request an item you will be prompted to create a PIN: 1. In the "Your Name" box, type your name as it appears on your library card then press the Tab key. 2. In the "Barcode" box type the barcode from your library card (e.g. 21208000000000) or the temporary card number you received through e-mail and press the Tab key. 3. In the "Enter your PIN" box, enter the PIN you want to use in SWAN. Your PIN must be between 6 and 30 letters or numbers, no characters. Since the PIN helps protect your privacy never use obvious words, numbers or dates as your PIN. 4. Click on the “Submit” button 5. If this is your first time creating a PIN, you will be brought to a confirmation screen where you will be asked to enter it two more times 6. The “My Account” screen offers links to a list of checked out items, outstanding requests, and fines
If you have forgotten your PIN, contact us at 708-453-7645 and ask for Circulation. |
